Owen White acted for Bovis Homes in connection with the creation of a 50:50 joint venture between Bovis Homes and The Riverside Group.
Owen White acted for London Square in respect of London Square’s acquisition of the final three phases of Royal Mail’s Nine Elms Park site.
London Square’s development will deliver a total of 756 homes across three sites. The gross development value will be approximately £400 million.
The Build to Rent element will be delivered in partnership with Moda Living. It will involve 437 apartments across two blocks of between 9 and 13 storeys. The blocks will include private dining rooms, resident gardens, a 24 hour concierge service, a cinema room, co-working spaces, meeting rooms, gyms and sun decks.
There will be 103 affordable rent homes which will be managed by Paragon Asra Housing. There will also be 30 affordable build to rent homes.
London Square’s scheme will deliver 186 private apartments in a 22 storey, three-sided building with views of the Thames.
London Square’s acquisition marks the launch of London Square Living – the company’s new Build to Rent Division. London Square Living has five new Build to Rent sites lined up. They will deliver more than 1,000 new homes.
