Owen White act in connection with £400 million scheme

Owen White acted for London Square in respect of London Square’s acquisition of the final three phases of Royal Mail’s Nine Elms Park site.

London Square’s development will deliver a total of 756 homes across three sites.  The gross development value will be approximately £400 million.

The Build to Rent element will be delivered in partnership with Moda Living.  It will involve 437 apartments across two blocks of between 9 and 13 storeys.  The blocks will include private dining rooms, resident gardens, a 24 hour concierge service, a cinema room, co-working spaces, meeting rooms, gyms and sun decks.

There will be 103 affordable rent homes which will be managed by Paragon Asra Housing.  There will also be 30 affordable build to rent homes.

London Square’s scheme will deliver 186 private apartments in a 22 storey, three-sided building with views of the Thames.

London Square’s acquisition marks the launch of London Square Living – the company’s new Build to Rent Division.  London Square Living has five new Build to Rent sites lined up.  They will deliver more than 1,000 new homes.

London Square’s Group Development Director Mark Smith said:

Owen White act in connection with all our acquisitions and have done so ever since we formed London Square.  We are grateful to them for their help in connection with this complex project”.

Phil Lawrence of Owen White said:

We are delighted to have been involved with another successful London Square project.   It demonstrates the ability of the Owen White team to handle large, complex, high value projects.

We are sure that both the Nine Elms project and London Square Living will be great successes.”
