The High Court has granted a summary judgment in favour of a landlord for a tenant’s non-payment of rent and service charges due under a lease irrespective of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Government’s restrictions on the remedies available to landlords.

Nicola regularly advises developers, letting agencies, franchisors and franchisees, Registered Providers of Social Housing, Local Authorities and commercial business tenants. She specialises in property litigation and has significant experience in dealing with a variety of property related disputes in the County and High Courts. These include both commercial and residential landlord and tenant claims (such as lease renewals, possession, forfeiture, breach of covenants, payment arrears and dilapidations), disputes on development, land and construction contracts, restrictive covenants and easements.
